CPECS: 4
The Intuitive Eating Practicum is designed to help dietitians integrate intuitive eating principles into their clinical practice using a compassionate, evidence-based, and non-diet approach. This training introduces the ten principles of intuitive eating while helping clinicians support patients in rebuilding trust with their bodies and improving interoceptive awareness.
Participants will explore how chronic dieting, food rules, emotional eating, and body dissatisfaction interfere with healthy eating behaviors. The course provides practical counseling strategies and activities that dietitians can immediately apply with patients.
